A decade of impact — from training thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs to implementing USAID-backed programmes and empowering women and youth across Nigeria's agricultural sector.
Green-Shield Integrated Technologies was incorporated under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria. In the same year, we delivered our first capacity building training for cassava producers and processors in Ondo State, setting the foundation for a decade of agricultural enterprise development.
GSI-TECH became a frontline implementer of training tools developed under the USAID MARKETS II Project — consolidating values and capacity across the Niger Delta region. This partnership elevated our training methodology and expanded our reach significantly.
We launched our Livestock and Agribusiness Training Programme in Ondo State, covering goat, pig, cattle, and poultry production — providing hands-on enterprise skills to producers, processors, and marketers across the livestock value chain.
GSI-TECH expanded operations to Oyo State, delivering aquaculture enterprise training to fish farmers across production and processing value chains. Our internship programme also grew significantly, attracting students and NYSC members from across Ondo State.
The Agricultural Women & Entrepreneurs Initiative of Nigeria (AWEIN) was launched, targeting women entrepreneurs and youth in agriculture. The programme has empowered hundreds of women with enterprise skills, market access, and technical support across multiple value chains.
GSI-TECH scaled up its agribusiness consultancy and market linkage services, working with governments, NGOs, and private sector organisations. We continue to grow our impact — connecting producers to markets, mentoring BDSPs, and expanding our training reach across Nigeria.
Over 1,000 producers, processors, and agro-dealers trained across cassava, poultry, aquaculture, and livestock value chains in Ondo and Oyo States.
Hundreds of students, NYSC members, and post-graduates have built agricultural enterprise skills through our structured internship and mentorship programme.
The AWEIN programme has empowered women entrepreneurs across Nigeria with enterprise skills, market linkage support, and technical agricultural training.
